Richard Gordon "Dick" Severson

RICHARD GORDON "DICK" SEVERSON Richard Gordon "Dick" Severson was born on June 9, 1933 in Janesville, Wis. to Gordon and Rosella (Wagner) Severson. He passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at his Dove Creek home at the age of 79. Dick was a member of the Dove Creek V.F.W and was a Boy Scout leader. He hiked the John Muir Trail in Yosemite National Park which was 220 miles and took four weeks to complete. Dick enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends. Surviving Dick are his children; Jamie Graham and husband, Richard of Grants Pass, Ore., Chuck Severson of Los Angeles, Calif., Jodie Jaramillo of Flagstaff, Ariz., Catherine Severson of Washington, and Jim Severson of Calif.; his eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; his Colorado friends, Ken Williams and wife, Loraine of Saguache, Colo., and Mike Gallegos and wife, Linda of Firestone, Colo.; and numerous friends from California. Preceding Dick in death are his parents, Gordon and Rosella Severson; and his wife, Patricia Ann (Sperry) Severson. Cremation has taken place with no services planned.
