Richard Dean Bowen

RICHARD DEAN “DICK” BOWEN Richard Dean “Dick” Bowen was born June 22, 1937 in Bloomington, Ind. the son of Kenneth and Freda (Fulk) Bowen. He passed away at his home on Summit Ridge on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at the age of 70. Dick married Donnetta Bell on November 20, 1986 on their horse ranch in Indiana. They shared nearly 21 years of marriage together. Dick and Donnetta moved to the Summit Ridge area 15 years ago. He was a race car owner and racing was a passion. Dick also enjoyed collecting trains. Surviving Dick are his beloved wife, Donnetta Bowen of Summit Ridge; sons, Robert Bowen of Cortez and Coy Bowen of Ohio; daughter, Brandy Daughtery and husband, Tony also of Ohio; four grandchildren; and one brother, Taylor Bowen of Albuquerque, N.M. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Lee Bowen.
