RICHARD CLYDE "DICK" HENSLEY Richard Clyde "Dick" Hensley was born July 22, 1947 in Casper, Wyo. the son of Robert and Elaine (Sharp) Hensley. He passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at his Cortez residence at the age of 63. Richard was a passionate Harley Davidson biker who enjoyed collecting and spending time with his family and friends. He had been employed as a driller in the oil field industry and Richard also spent time as a barber. He worked at Walmart in Cortez for a few years as well. Jacqulynn, his youngest daughter, was the sunshine in his life. He raised his three granddaughters giving them lots of love. He taught them to read and ride their bikes. "Papa Dick" will be greatly missed by them. The love of his family and friends will remain always and forever. A special thanks to Ertel Funeral Home and all of his friends that came out to honor Mr. Hensley and share their cherished memories. "Live to ride, ride to live" in loving memory of Mr. Richard Clyde Hensley. Surviving Richard are his daughters, Lorrisa Hensley of Flagstaff, Ariz. and Jacqulynn Hensley of Cortez; his granddaughters, Crystal Uriah Stamper, Amanda Skye Stamper, and Rachel Anne Stamper; his siblings, Bill Hensley and wife, Charlene, Don Hensley and wife, Linda, James Hensley and wife, Ruth, Jay Hensley and wife, Treva, and Rosie Eddy and husband, Dr. Bruce Eddy, all of Casper, Wyo.; his half brother, Kenny Faunce; his half-sister, Bobby Mines; his step-father, Virgil Faunce; and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hensley; and by his mother, Elaine Sharp. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
