Ray Vance Ramsey

RAY VANCE RAMSEY Ray Vance Ramsey was born February 6, 1947 in Cortez the son of Glen Daniel and Opal Lorene (Lewis) Ramsey. He passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at his Mancos residence at the age of 70. On March 11, 1968, Ray married Glenda Catherine Pribble in Boulder, Colo. Ray owned and operated a local concrete company. He was an avid water and snow skier and he was good with his hands. Surviving Ray are his wife of 48 years, Glenda Ramsey of Cortez; his sons, Bruce James Ramsey of Cortez and Jonathan Glen Ramsey (Courtney) of Farmington, N.M.; by his grandchildren, Kira Ramsey and Tamzyn Ramsey; and by his brothers, James "Jim" Ramsey of Ely, Nev. and Ronnie Ramsey of Cortez. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brother, Bruce Ramsey. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
