Ray Paul Laner

A private family service will be held for Towaoc resident Ray Paul Laner due to the current health situation and the mandatory restrictions on public gatherings associated with it.
Ray Paul Laner was born February 17, 1967 in Cortez, Colo. the son of Raymus Paul Laner and Sarah (Scott) Laner. He passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 in Grand Junction, Colo. at the age of 53.
Surviving Ray are his mother and step-father, Sarah Hayes and Rick Hayes Sr. of Towoac, Colo.; his children, Raymond “Alex” Laner of Alamogordo, N.M., and Rachel Kay Laner of Towaoc, Colo.; his grandchildren, Lauren Laner and Elijah Laner; by his companion, Sandra Whiteskunk of Towaoc, Colo.; and by his siblings, Troy Lynn Johnson of Towaoc, Colo., Eugena Tom of Towaoc, Colo., and Tina Castillo of Albuquerque, N.M. Ray was preceded in death by his father; and by his siblings, Duane Laner, Cheryl Laner, and Nancy Duncan.
