Ramona Small

RAMONA SMALL Graveside services for longtime Cortez resident Ramona Small will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 at Cortez Cemetery. Ramona was born March 26, 1929 in Buhl, Idaho the daughter of Arthur B. and Bessie Julia (Grimm) Fairchild. She passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Vista Grande Inn Nursing Home at the age of 87. Surviving Ramona are her husband of 69 years, Eugene V. Small of Cortez; by her daughter, Victoria Ramona McGuire (Harold) of Parker, Ariz., by her two grandchildren, Justin Eugene McGuire (Brandy) of Parker, Ariz., and Jolene Ramona McGuire of Overland Park, Kan.; by her brother, Paul Fairchild (Gina) of Twin Falls, Idaho; and by her sister-in-law, Janice Fairchild of Washington. Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; by her sons, Eugene Victor Small Jr., David Arthur Small, and James Allen Small; and by her siblings, Esther Gaines, Kenneth Fairchild, Dale Fairchild, and Harvey Fairchild.
