QUINTON ROSS TAGGART Graveside services for Quinton Ross Taggart will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8 at Cortez Cemetery. Pastor Anthony Maes will officiate. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday afternoon from 4-6 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Quinton was born August 13, 1965 in Denver, Colo. and he left this earth to be with God on Tuesday, July 2, 2014. He left behind his wife of 30 years, Angel; his two boys, Ian Taggart (Heidi Wilkerson) and Derek Taggart (Aubrey Camp); his mother, Kathy Wofford; his father, John Taggart; his brother, Chad Taggart (Machelle); four granddaughters, Lillie Taggart, Star Taggart, Macie Taggart, and Presley Wilkerson; his in laws, Jim and Lolita Finley and Jami Dennison; his nieces and nephews, Kinsey Dennison, Kylie Dennison, Dante Dennison, Isaiah Dennison, Desiree Taggart, Holly Taggart, and Jaycee Taggart; and his great-nephew, Tachen Swank. Quinton also left behind several cousins. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Lonnie Taggart; his step-father, Carlton "Shorty" Wofford; his sister-in-law, Denise "Dee-Dee" Finley Thomas; and by his grandfather, Ivan Taggart. Quint, as he was fondly referred to by his friends and family, was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting and camping with his family and friends. Quint loved being a truck driver and will be missed by all the flaggers who lovingly referred to him as the "Candy Man." Memorial contributions may be made in Quinton Taggart's name at Dolores State Bank.
