PRISCILLA JOANN CROOK-LOPEZ Funeral Mass for lifelong Cortez resident Priscilla JoAnn Crook-Lopez will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 21 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Cremation will follow. Visitation has been scheduled for Wednesday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Rosary service will begin at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Priscilla was born on October 11, 1956 in Durango, Colo. the daughter of Manuel and Estella Marquez. She passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 60. Surviving Priscilla are her husband, Joe Lopez of Cortez; her children, Joe R. Lopez of Cortez and April Lopez (Jimbob Grove) of Dolores; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and by her siblings, Angie Dow of Canada, Yvonne Barron of Pinehurst, Ida., Olivia Church of Nevada, Ronnie Marquez (Judy) of Lewis, Rachel Marquez (Rod Thomas) of Kellogg, Ida., and Isabel Marquez-Campbell (Bob) of Smelterville, Ida. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; and by her brother, Paul Marquez.
