Placido Luis 'Joe' Mercure

Services are pending for Cortez resident Placido Luis ‘Joe’ Mercure.
Joe was born February 8, 1945 in Plaza Blanca, NM the son of Baltazar and Teresa (Madril) Mercure. He passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at his residence at the age of 75.
Surviving Joe are his loving wife, Rose Mary Mercure of Cortez, CO; his son, Jose Mercure (Donald Bradburn) of Riverside, CA; his daughter, Angela Mercure (Lester Sage) of Cortez, CO; his siblings, Gilberto Mercure of Farmington, NM, Isaac Mercure of Los Ojos, NM, Jose Mercure of Espanola, NM, Cristella Gallegos of Chama, NM; three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Antonia Aguilar.
