PEGGY LOU HINTON HIPP Graveside services for Cottonwood, Ariz. resident and former Cortez resident, Peggy Lou Hinton Hipp will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 14 at Cortez Cemetery. Peggy was born August 8, 1928 in Cortez to Orville L. and Gladys (Harris) Hinton. She passed away on her 87th birthday in Cottonwood, Ariz. Peggy was a member of Verde Baptist Church in Cottonwood and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church while living in Cortez. Surviving Peggy are her son, Don R. Hipp of Alamogordo, N.M.; two grandchildren, Michael and Stephanie; one nephew and one niece; numerous cousins; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Hipp; a baby son; her mother and father; and by a brother.
