DOROTHY PAULINE PHILLIPS Funeral services for Mancos resident, Dorothy Pauline Phillips will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 21 at the Church of the First Born. Interment will follow at the Arriola Cemetery. Mr. Doug Carver will be officiating. Pauline was born on October 31, 1939 in Octavia, Okla. to George and Mary N. (Dean) Brown. She passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Valley Inn Nursing Home at the age of 75. Pauline was an active member of the Church of the First Born. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and other family members. Her wonderful laugh and beautiful smile will be dearly missed. Surviving Pauline are her daughters, MaryAnn Hendrix and Kathy Nelson; her grandchildren, Joseph Andrews, Bronwyn Boswell, Clayton Meyer, Cooper Deaton; great grandchildren, Kelton and Kinzie Schultz, Faith, Kaydence, Jace Andrews, Bentley and Cameron Deaton; and siblings, Jerry Brown and wife, Bobbie and Helen Kuykendall and husband, Al. Preceding her in death were her parents, George and Mary Brown; her granddaughter, Rebekah Andrews; and her brothers and sisters, Bill Brown, Jack Brown, Mary Johnston, George Brown Jr., and Betty Castillo.
