PAULINE MAE MAYLOTT Funeral services for Pauline Mae Maylott, a longtime Cortez resident, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 24 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery. Pauline was born January 6, 1928 in Wray, Colo. the daughter of Virgil Orville Ring and Dorothy Alexandra (Hubbell) Ring. She passed away at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colo. on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Pauline was 87 years old. Pauline was an avid horse person; she loved caring for her horses as well as riding them. She was the President of the Weld County Saddle Club for many years. Pauline was trained as a Licensed Practical Nurse, working for years at the Greeley hospital and after her move to this area, at the Valley Inn and Vista Grande Inn. Pauline retired at the age of 83 from the Valley Inn in Mancos. Surviving Pauline are her children, Richard Tucker and wife, Nancy of Eaton, Colo., Ken Tucker of Cortez, Ron Tucker and wife, Chris of Cortez, and Bill Tucker also of Cortez; three grandchildren, Adrian Tucker, Will Tucker and Rene' Riley; four great grandchildren, Kyle Riley, Tori Tucker, Ashley Tucker and Zach Tucker; and one brother, Bob McAlister of Cortez. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William Richard Tucker; her second husband, Pat Maylott; two grandchildren, Jennifer Tucker and Lance Tucker; and her siblings, George Edens and Marie Shepard.
