PATRICIA RAE "PATTI" PLEMONS Memorial services for longtime Cortez resident Patricia Rae "Patti" Plemons will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 2 at Rock Springs Community Church. Pastor David Ramsey will officiate. The family invites everyone to join them for a meal following the service, also to be held at the church. Patti was born June 22, 1952 in Pueblo, Colo. the daughter of Ray Benjamin and Julie Jean (Shifflet) Haney. She passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at her residence at the age of 63. On December 8, 1976, Patti married Roy Plemons in Durango, Colo. Patti was a devoted member of Rock Springs Community Church in Cortez. She owned and operated Studio 23 from 1993-2005, Patti had a wonderful eye for photography. In her free time, Patti enjoyed singing, camping and gardening. She loved being with her children and grandchildren, they brought her life much joy and happiness. Surviving Patti are her husband of 39 years, Roy Plemons of Cortez; her father, Ray Haney of Cortez; her sons, Chris Plemons (Holly) of Mancos, Paul Plemons (Hannah) of Monticello, Utah, Nate Plemons (Sonnie) of Henderson, Nev., and Jacob Plemons of Cortez; six grandchildren; and by her sister Sharon Kitchel (Jim) of Oklahoma. Patti was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Haney. Memorial contributions may be made in Patti Plemons' name to Hospice of Montezuma P.O. 740 Cortez, Colo. 81321.
