Patricia Faye Schmidt

Patricia Faye Schmidt, age 65, passed away on December 20, 2021 at UC Health Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
She was born on April 29, 1956 in Austin, Texas. She is survived by her husband Kit Schmidt, daughter Callie Sprague (Doug Sprague), granddaughter Ashlyn Velarde, son Blaine Schmidt, grandson Beckett, son Kent Schmidt, granddaughter Dallie, mother Billie Floyd, sister Darlene Johnson (Larry Johnson), sister Carlene Cline (Dennis Cline) and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Trish is preceded in death by her father Shirley Floyd and grandson Kayden Velarde.
Patricia was a longtime resident of Dolores, Colorado. She graduated from Dolores High School in 1974 and continued to follow her lifelong love of horses, rodeos, and horse racing. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.
