Patricia A. (Hansen) Suender Born February 10, 1930 in Waterloo, Iowa Died September 23, 2017, in Mancos, Colorado Pat leaves behind four children, Steven Suender, of Aztec, N.M., Marie Richmond, Dolores, CO., Greg Suender, Bloomfield, N.M., and John Suender, Bloomfield, N.M. Pat is survived by brothers, Maynard Hansen of Waterloo, IA and Tim (Mary Maurer) Hansen of Anchorage, AK; and by are nine grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her spouse, Gordon D. Fleming; her mother, Josephine (Miller) Hansen; her father, Neils Lyman Hansen; her brothers, Joe and Wayne Hansen; and by her granddaughters, Laura Suender and Breeli Suender. Pat loved to sew quilts, embroider, paint ceramics, all manner of crafting, fish, play cards and was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. She retired from Plateau Inc. as a Station Supervisor. Cremation has taken place with a Memorial Mass planned for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29th at St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church in Mancos, Colorado, with Rev. Patrick Valdez, C.R., officiating.
