Orren Anthony Simmons, of Snowflake, Arizona, unexpectedly passed away on May 23, 2018 in Show Low, Arizona. He was 59. Orren was born on February 16, 1959 in Cortez, Colorado to Arthur A. Simmons and Felicite E. Roalstad. Orren was a true Cowboy and friend to all. He drove a truck for many years for various companies. He is survived by his children, Tiffany Williams, Gale Simmons (Amanda) of Lewis, CO, Lyle Simmons (Lacy) of Pennsylvania, Emily Kemp (Foard) of Russell Springs, KS, and Peggy Kern of Dighton, KS; five grandchildren; his mother, Felicite Forest (Gene) of Durango, CO; his brothers, Clint Simmons (Sherry) of Lewis, CO and Shawn Simmons (Michele) of Payson, AZ; his sister, Julie Hartman of Hesperus, CO; his step-mother, Rita Simmons of Lewis, CO; his step-sisters Judy Marques (Ron) of Lewis, CO, Ellen Keith of Mancos, CO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Orren was preceded in death by his wife Honey Jean Simmons; a grandson; his father Arthur Simmons; his grandparents L.A. and Lanelle Simmons; his maternal grandmother Bernice Koogle. A celebration of life and pot Luck will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Lewis-Arriola Community Center.
