Orland Gene Hatch

ORLAND GENE HATCH Funeral services for lifelong Towaoc resident, Orland Gene Hatch will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Ertel Chapel. Orland was born December 3, 1959 in Cortez the son of Lewis Truman Hatch and Kathleen Ann Tobias. He passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyo. at the age of 57. In his free time, Orland enjoyed playing and coaching many different sports. He liked softball, basketball, throwing darts, wrestling and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys play football. He was an avid outdoorsman and he loved to hunt and fish. Orland faithfully participated in Beardance and Sundance. Surviving Orland are his mother, Kathleen Tobias of Ignacio; his children, Natalie Hatch, Madaline Hatch, Orson Hatch and Oden Hatch, all of Towaoc; his three grandchildren, Jace Denetsosie, Aiden Hatch and Raemya Hatch, all of Towaoc; and by his siblings, Lewis Hatch, Melvin Hatch, Kevin Hatch, Theresa Hatch and Dora Hatch, all of Towaoc. Orland was preceded in death by his father.
