Oren Darrell Story

Disappointment Valley, CO resident Oren Darrell Story was born July 20, 1934 in Mesa, CO the son of William Devern and Jeanette Fern (Roach) Story. He passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at the Valley Inn in Mancos, CO at the age of 85.
Surviving Oren are his spouse, Clara Faye (Dude) Story of Redvale, CO; his children, Fawn Bailey of Aztec, NM, Dawn Gardner of Aztec, NM, Youvon Smith of MO, Ecco Prewitt of MO, Thomas Story of Aztec, NM; his wife Clara’s children, TuesDay Kimsey of Crescent Valley, NV, Travis Linville of Little Rock, AR, Troy Linville of Grand Junction, CO, Trent Linville of Nucla, CO; 19 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren; Clara’s 14 grandchildren; and Clara’s 6 great grandchildren. Oren was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette Fern Story and William Devern Story; his first wife, Ecco Story; and his brothers, William Story, Alfred Story, and Jerald Story.
