Novella Irene Nicholas

Lifelong Cortez, Colorado resident Novella Irene Nicholas was born March 20, 1954 the daughter of Louie Thatcher and Laveta Pacheco (Patterson). She passed away on October 22, 2018 at her residence at the age of 64.
Novella was a Dove Creek cheerleader and enjoyed working. She married Gary Lynn Nicholas March 20, 1978 in Cortez, Colorado.
Surviving Novella are her spouse, Gary Nicholas of Cortez, CO; her mother, Laveta Pacheco (Mose); her children, Tammy Sue Lopez (Raymond) of Cortez, CO, Zita M. Doyle of Las Vegas, NV, and Wendy Henderson of Utah; her brothers, Eldon Thatcher of Louisiana, and Floyd Thatcher of Grand Junction, CO; her sisters, Bertha Martin of Cedar Ridge, CO, and Roberta Thatcher of Montrose, CO; three grand-children and one great grand-child. Preceding Novella in death are her father, Louie Thatcher and her brother John Thatcher.
