NORMAN LEE YELLOWMAN Norman Lee Yellowman was born May 3, 1955 in Farmington, N.M. the son of Charley and Pauline Lorraine (Bradley) Yellowman. He passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center at the age of 61. Norman was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He also enjoyed fine artwork, carpentry, wood working and collecting dream catchers. Surviving Norman are his sisters, Linda Yellowman of Rico, Barbara Yellowman (John Greefkens) of Durango, Genevive Yellowman of Rico, Alvina Yellowman of Durango, Nita Welch (Paul) of Stoner, Colo., and Beverly Yellowman of Rico; his nephews, Mychal Yellowman of Thornton, Colo., Ryley Welch of Stoner, Colo.; and his niece, Tyra Jane Welch of Boulder, Colo. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and by his siblings, Curtis Yellowman, David Yellowman, and Brenda Yellowman. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 5 at noon at the Dolores Community Center.
