Graveside services for Dolores resident Norman Gregory Smith will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Cortez Cemetery. Bishop Jeremy Yarbrough will officiate. Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Norman was born May 27, 1948 in Williams, AZ the son of Ivan Henry and Margurietta Hope (Holaday) Smith. He passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT at the age of 72.
Surviving Norman are his children, Lynette Morris (Gene) of Hurricane, UT, Spencer Smith (Nichole) of Dolores, CO, Naomie DeMartini (Steve) of San Clemente, CA, Matthew Smith (Crystal Contreras) of South Jordan, UT, Ivan Smith (Elsie) of Lehi, UT, Jeff Schrage Jr., Courtney Todd (Jeremy) of Midland, TX, and Skylar Schrage; his brother, Robert Smith of Williams, AZ; his previous wives and the mothers of his children, Cheryl Pearson of Williams, AZ, and Michaella Wright of Draper, UT; and 22 grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; his spouse, Delene Smith; and his brother, Wesley Smith.
