NORMA JEAN "JEANIE" TELLES Graveside services for longtime area resident Norma Jean "Jeanie" Telles will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 22 at the Calliham Family Cemetery in Ucolo, Utah. Visitation has been set for Friday afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Jeanie was born September 14, 1956 in Monticello, Utah the daughter of Gerald Layne and Beatrice Lanelle (Patton) Calliham. She passed away at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colo. on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the age of 57. Jeanie married Leo Ray Telles in 1977 in Denver, sharing 37 wonderful years together. For 40 years Jeanie sold Avon products and for the last few years she worked on the family farm. Her love of animals was great. Very talented in the crafts area, Jeanie loved to crochet and enjoyed sharing her creations with others. Surviving Jeanie are her husband, Leo Telles of Ucolo, Utah; her stepfather and the man she call 'Father', Darrell Cox of Grand Junction, Colo.; and three sons, Leo Telles Jr. of Denver, Colo., Daniel Telles of Ucolo, Utah, and Christopher Telles of Denver, Colo. Also surviving Jeanie are her siblings, Joyce Presley and husband, Kevin of Cortez, Cindy Kellerman and husband, Bill of Ruidoso, N.M., Julie Lucero and husband, Lee of Grand Junction, Colo., Sheryl Gray of Monticello, Utah, Pam Eager and husband, Scott, Kim McDonald and husband, Ken, and Kenneth Cox all of Grand Junction, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
