Norma Jean Howell

Norma Jean Howell was born on February 27, 1930 in Yellow Jacket, Colo. the daughter of Emery Grant and Irene (Payne) Ives. Lifelong area resident, Norma, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Vista Grande Inn, Cortez, Colo. Cremation will take place with no services planned. Norma is survived by her children, Roy L. Howell (Mary Linden)of Cheyenne, Wyo., Ronald B. Howell, Harlon G. Howell (Patricia) all of Cortez, and Kevin K. Howell of Denver, Colo.; and her eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Irene Ives; her husband, Robert Bert Howell; her daughter, Brenda G. Miller and her siblings, Harold Ives, Dale Ives, Dean Ives and Carol Raff.
