Nettie Rose Frazier

NETTIE ROSE FRAZIER Funeral services for longtime Dove Creek resident Nettie Rose Frazier will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 18 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Dove Creek Cemetery. Nettie passed away at her home in Dove Creek on Friday, April 13, 2007. She was born to Dee and Nellie Finch on May 9, 1928 at Red Mesa, Colo. When the family moved to Naturita, Colo., Nettie met and fell in love with her lifetime mate, Ellie Frazier. They were married in Aztec, N.M. on Oct. 8, 1945. Nettie loved her family and was the rock they leaned on and trusted at all times. Nettie loved making things for her children, grand and great grandchildren. She sewed, crochted and did embroidery work. She also did great ceramic work until her eyesight got too bad. Nettie will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Nettie is survived by three sons, Roger Frazier and wife, Sandy of Mesa, Ariz., Robert Frazier of Dove Creek, and Irvin “Sonny” Frazier also of Dove Creek; and five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Preceding Nettie in death are her parents; her husband, Ellie; an infant son; her brothers, Al, Tom, Calvin, Clifford, Jiggs and Floyd; and her sister, Elenor.
