Neldamae Holder

NELDAMAE HOLDER Funeral services for Cortez resident Neldamae Holder will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 27 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will take place at Missoula Cemetery in Missoula, Mont. Reverend Al Strauss will officiate. Neldamae was born on September 8, 1920 in Sexton, Iowa the daughter of Gustav and Frances (Stratton) Norte. She passed away on Friday, September 19, 2008 at Madison House at the age of 88. On May 10, 1941, Neldamae married Jessie James Holder in Princeton, Mo. Neldamae was a talented beauty operator who loved her job. She moved to Missoula, Mont. in 1992 to be closer to her family. Neldamae treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed flowers, visiting with her neighbors, and she loved to travel. Surviving Neldamae are her daughter, Janice J. Richardson and husband, Pete of Cortez; her grandchildren, Jennifer Siebold, Amy Wenham, Meghan Holder, Katie Holder and Andrew Holder; her great-grandchildren, Josh Siebold, Sara Siebold, and Kyra Wenham; her sister, Donna Dietz of Waterloo, Iowa; and her daughter-in-law, Ruth Anne Brown of Missoula, Mont. Neldamae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jessie Holder; her son, Ronald Lee Holder; four brothers; and two sisters.
