Nelda Martha Trost

NELDA MARTHA TROST Nelda M. Trost, a current resident of Vista Grande Inn, passed away February 1, 2013 in Cortez. She was born in Fredonia, Wis. to Fred and Clara Laubenstein on January 20, 1931. Nelda and Earl Trost were married December 1957 in Wisconsin. Nelda is preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Trost; and husband Earl Trost. Growing up in Fredonia, she was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a lifelong devoted Lutheran. Nelda worked for Power Products for 47 years until her retirement. At that time, she and Earl shared an adventure by moving permanently to Cortez for the remainder of their lives. Nelda worked hard her entire life and was always accepting of what life brought her. Surviving Nelda are her sister, Renata Schultz; her brother-in-law, Dan Trost; and several nieces and nephews.
