Nelda F. Rawson

Funeral services for Nelda Faye Rawson will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Church of Christ in Cortez, CO. Interment will follow at Arriola Cemetery.
Nelda, 93, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Forest Ridge Nursing Home in Woodland Park, CO. She was born to Nannie Dera and Ben Fincher in Huckabay, TX on August 3, 1928. She was the youngest of five children. Nelda married Dale Rawson on October 16, 1950 in Las Vegas, NV. They moved to Cortez, CO in 1960 where she lived until 2016 when she moved to Woodland Park, CO.
Surviving Nelda are her three sons, Gary (Jolond) of Woodland Park, CO, Ronnie (Jeannie) of Cortez, CO, and Bennie (Kim) of Starwood, WA; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Nelda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale in October, 2015; three sisters; and one brother.
