Nathan Scott Adair

NATHAN SCOTT ADAIR Nathan ' Gator' Scott Adair, 19, of Cortez, Colo., died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, as a result of a car accident in Show Low, Ariz. He was born March 6, 1986, in Durango, Colo., to Tom and Tami Adair. He attended Cortez High School and graduated in 2005. He enjoyed football, spending time with his family and friends and working at E.A. Glass. He was loved by everyone around him and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his brother, Zachary Adair and grandfather, Doyle Adair. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Tami Adair; sisters, Brittney and Whitney; brothers, Joshua and Joseph, all of Cortez; grandmother, Nelda Adair of Kirtland; grandparents, Tom and Sherril Ross of Show Low; grandmother, Sandra Ross of Safford, Ariz. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Ertel Funeral Home in Cortez. Another visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Latter-day Saints Chapel on Empire Street in Cortez. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. also at the LDS Chapel, with Bishop Mortensen officiating. Interment will follow at Kirtland Community Cemetery in Kirtland. Pallbearers are Joshua Adair, Joseph Adair, Brent Peterson, Brian Peterson, Joel Hollar, Seth Hollar, Caleb Hollar and James Lujan. Honorary pallbearers are Linn Adair, Scott Adair, Leland Adair, Bye Adair, Craig Peterson, David Busch, Tyrell Adair, Thomas Ross, Tommy Ross, Todd Ross, Josh Mack, Jared Mattice, Nash Mattice, Tyler Anway, Dave Anway, Kyle Howard, Alton Eday, Pat Rowen, Dave DeVore, Tanner DeVore, Nick Crawford, Pat Crawford, Brett Crawford, the entire Cortez Panther football team and all the coaches that have ever coached Nate.
