Nancy was born on January 6, 1942 in Los Angeles, California. She was the fourth child of Gail and Marie Cross. A few years later the family relocated to Carbon Canyon which is now known as Chino Hills, California. Being some of the first full time residents in the area, the family put down roots and Nancy resided there for most of her life. She had relocated a few times before making Cortez her home nearly a decade ago.
Nancy graduated Chino High School in 1959 and married the love of her life, Joseph Andrews, on February 13, 1965. She spent most of the next couple of decades caring for their children David and Lisa. Once her family had grown and moved she ventured out and proudly worked at the El Prado Golf Course.
Nancy made friends where ever she went. She showed that she genuinely loved her family and friends. She had a smile as big as her heart and an infectious laugh. Nancy was always thoughtful and generous. She was a long-time devoted fan of Elvis Presley and avid collector of his memorabilia. Nancy was very talented and made many crafts over the years. She loved to play Words with Friends online. She was very social and enjoyed card games with her friends. Nancy was devoted in her faith and attended church at Evangel Assembly of God in Cortez. She had a great memory and could tell you all the family stories.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Gail and Marie (Thompson) Cross; her brother, Stan Cross; her sister Pat (Cross) Schelbauer; her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Kathy (Weaver) Cross; her brother-in-law, Clarence Williams; her grandson, Matthew Bennett; her nephews, David Cross, Fred Cross and Michael Billy; her niece, Marty Cross.
