Nancy Beatrice Ruiz

Memorial Mass for longtime resident, Nancy Beatrice Ruiz, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 18 at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Cortez Cemetery, Father Pat Valdez, C.R. will officiate. A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 17 at the Church. Our Lord called Nancy home on December 12, 2015. Nancy was born on October 28, 1949 to Saturnino and Luisa Candelaria who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Zack Ruiz and her four children, Brian, Tina, Joey and Michael. She leaves ten grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was born and lived in the Cortez area all her life. She worked as a driver and cook for the senior citizens for 25 years. She will be missed and will forever live in our hearts.
