Nancy Ann Wiltgen

Nancy Ann Wiltgen was born on August 11, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Benjamin and Charlotte Michna. She passed away peacefully at home on Saturday September 2, 2017 at the age of 78. While living in Mundelein, Illinois she met her future husband Jerry and they were married September 9, 1961 and started their family by welcoming daughters Kathleen and Leslie. Nancy and Jerry moved to Cortez in 1974 where they founded Cortez Camera. Nancy then became an insurance agent until her retirement in 2012. After retiring she enjoyed life in her garden and caring for her horse, riding as often as possible. Preceding Nancy in death were her parents Ben and Charlotte, brother Tom and baby daughter Leslie. Surviving Nancy are her loving husband Jerry of 55 years, her daughter Kate and husband Rick Lard, grandchildren Cassie Lard and Bradly Apple, her sisters Tina and Betty and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves her many dear friends both old and new. She treasured her time with her favorite four legged buddies Annie and Rosie. A celebration of her warm and loving life is in the future.
