NADEEN BLACK Funeral services for lifelong Lewis resident, Nadeen Black will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 10 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Goodman Point Cemetery. Nadeen was born June 20, 1932 at Lebanon, Colo. the daughter of Edward Willis and Lola (Hampton) Goodall. She passed away at Vista Grande Inn on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the age of 75. On December 24, 1948, Nadeen married Stanley Black in Aztec, N.M. Nadeen was a devoted member of the Church of Christ. Her family was very important in her life. Crocheting, quilting, gardening and cooking were some of Nadeen's favorite activities; she loved to share her talents with her family. Surviving Nadeen are her sons, Gary Black and wife, Patti of Yuma, Ariz., Darrell Black and wife, Bonnie of Lewis, Phillip Black of Hobbs, N.M., Bryan Black and wife, Tammy of Cortez, and Kevin Black and wife, Christine of Littleton, Colo.; her siblings, Noreen Denham of Temecula, Calif., Eddie Goodall of Cortez, Wayne Goodall of Lewis, Clyde Goodall of Dolores, and Jerry Goodall of Lewis; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley Black; her sons, Michael and Roy Black; and her brothers, Donnie and Dale Goodall.
