Myron Jones

Graveside services for Red Mesa, Utah resident Myron Jones will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 at Cortez Cemetery. The family will provide drive through to go meals at the First United Methodist Church parking lot, 515 N. Park St, Cortez, CO, following the service.
Myron was born May 23, 1987 in Shiprock, N.M. the son of Charles Jones and Elsie Dee. He passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M. at the age of 33.
Surviving Myron are his parents, Charles Jones of Ismay, Utah and Elsie Dee of Red Mesa, Utah; his siblings, Anthony Jones (Lucinda) of Red Mesa, Utah, Douglas Jones (Renalda) of Red Mesa, Utah, Charissa Benn (Elliott) of Montezuma Creek, UT, and Veronica Jones-Butler (Harry) of Queets, Wash. and by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Myron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beulah Whitehorse Jones, Tom Shorty, Anna Slim Dee and Edgar Dee; and by his aunts, Dorothy Yazzie and Betty Nakai.
