Mona Ruth Douglas

MONA RUTH DOUGLAS Graveside services for Mona Ruth Douglas, a former area resident, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 12 at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation has been set for Friday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Mona was born February 17, 1925 in Mancos the daughter of Jens J. and Cecelia (Willden) Jensen. She passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday, May 6, 2007 in Provo, Utah. Mona married Dalton Hugh Douglas in Albuquerque, N.M. on September 27, 1944. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and played the organ for church services for over 45 years. Surviving Mona are her three daughters, Carol Farr of Westminster, Colo., Sherry Remund of Centennial, Colo., and Patricia Hay of Gallatin, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
