Minerva J. Swearingen

MINERVA J. SWEARINGEN Minerva J. Swearingen was born March 4, 1932 in Greensburg, Pa. the daughter of Daniel and Agnes (Sziber) Gettemy. She passed away at her Cortez home on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at the age of 77. Minerva is survived by her children, Peggy Pellissier and husband, Doug of Tinana, Queensland, Australia, Shelly Pearson Jr. and wife, Pam of Adelaide, South Australia, and Arlen Bonds and wife, Dee of Dolores; by six grandchildren, Gaye-Lynn and husband, Andrew, Shannon, Erin, Juanita, Amanda and Nicole; and by six great grandchildren. Also surviving Minerva are her niece, Yvonne Nielson of California; caregivers, Jeannie, Enid and Leah of Hospice and Judi Masayo; as well as by dear friends, Becky and John and family and by Ruth Ann and Ed Lord. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Pearson.
