Millie Ann Gilpin

MILLIE ANN GILPIN Millie Ann Gilpin was born on April 15, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Paul Alreaka and Elizabeth Jane (Thomas) Anderson. She passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at her home at the age of 64. On August 8, 1958, Ann married Isaac Eugene Gilpin. They would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this year. Ann was a very emotionally strong individual, she was the best mother, friend, and wife a person could have. She spent some of her life as a waitress, cook, and chef, but the job she enjoyed the most was that of wife and mother. Surviving Ann are her husband, Isaac “Ike” Gilpin of Cortez; her mother, Elizabeth Jane Bunch of Iowa; and her children, Eugene Paul Gilpin of Cortez, Leon Errol Gilpin of Cornville, Ariz., Billy Shane Gilpin and Jacqueline Jeanette Coleman, both of Corning, Calif., and Marty Dean Gilpin of Greeley, Colo. She also leaves behind her siblings, Anita Marie Hendrix, Adrian Ardan, Terry Neil Anderson, and Paul Dennis Anderson; as well as 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Preceding Ann in death were her father; her daughter, Lorena Renea Gilpin; and her siblings, Josephine Paulette Anderson, Harry Dell Anderson, and Virgil Eugene Anderson. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
