MICHELLE LOUISE MCGRUDER Memorial services for longtime Cortez resident Michelle Louise McGruder will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20 at Lifeway Baptist Church, 601 N. Dolores Road in Cortez. Pastor Anthony Maes will officiate. Michelle was born January 14, 1970 in Craig, Colo. She passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango at the age of 46. Surviving Michelle are her mother, Luisa Peterman of Cortez; her father, Scott Stiegelmeyer of Cortez; her son, Chaz Thomas of Cortez; her grandson, Justin Thomas of Wyoming; and her brother, Brian Stiegelmeyer (Amy) of Cortez.
