Michael Allen Sheldon

Michael Allen Sheldon was born January 19th 1964 in Joplin Missouri. The son of Lilly Maxine Sheldon and Jay M Sheldon II. He passed away on Friday September 20th, 2024, at his residence at the age of sixty. 

Mike was a collector of many things. He loved helping people and telling anyone the stories of his adventures. Mike grew up in Galena Ks. Baseball was one of his passions. He made All Stars every year he played. Mike always went above and beyond to help care for not only his own family but many others throughout his life. 

He met his wife Lanna in 1983 and got married just six short weeks later. Surviving, Mike is his wife, Lanna Sheldon of Cortez. His daughter, BryAnne Goddard (Jeremiah), Crystal Patterson (David), grandchildren, Destinee and Kyler Goddard. His brother and sister Mary Blanton of Fl. Albert Welzel, Henry Welzel of Springfield Mo. Jimmy Welzel of Kansas City, Mo. Jay Sheldon III of Cortez Co. Jaynell Key of Wichita Ks, Dorothy Sheldon of Osawatomie Ks, Ruth Shirk of Springfield Mo, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
