MICHAEL PERKINS “MIKE” FOX Memorial services for Cortez resident Michael Perkins “Mike” Fox will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Michael Perkins “Mike” Fox was born on March 2, 1953 in Wallace, Idaho the son of Howard Franklin and Vernita Marie (Perkins) Fox. He passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 54. Surrounded by his loving family, daughter Cassie Fox, Peggy Purcell and husband, Russell, Tom Fox and wife, Maria, Patty Brackett and husband, Steve, Steven Brackett and wife, Rae, Jeff Brackett and wife, Racheal, Valeria Muniz and husband, Jeremiah, Shelly Leonard and husband, Terrell, T.R. Jorgensen and wife, Cindy, Nick Fox and wife, Reece, Leslie Bakler, Neil Fox, Caiden DeGraw, Royleen Lund, Ryan and Nico Leonard, Keishia and Derrick Jorgensen, Damian Noorlander, Connor and Duncan Bakler, and Tommy and Reo Fox. Mike was an Army veteran of the Vietnam era serving in Korea. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and coin collector. He worked in the area mines. Everyone was Mike’s friend. He was an organ donor. Mike was a very giving person and he is still giving now. We will miss his loving presence in our lives. God bless you Mike, may you now be at peace.
