Michael Ernst

Funeral Services for Dove Creek resident Michael Ernst will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Dolores County Fairgrounds.

Michael was born March 27, 1954 in Grand Junction, Colorado, the son of Harold and Helen (Monger) Ernst. He passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 in San Juan County, Colorado at the age of 69.

Surviving Michael are his wife, Laurie Ernst of Dove Creek, CO; his children Brandi Nolan (Andy) of Grand Junction, CO, Tara Griffin (Henry) of Aurora, CO, Miranda Ernst (Brad Rollins) of Aurora, CO, and Kelsey Colby (Graden) of Spring Creek, NV; siblings Dixie Mulligan (Mike) of Dove Creek, CO, and Rick Ernst (Berna) of Dove Creek, CO; grandchildren Kade Likes, McKenna Nolan, Ryenn Nolan, Kruz Colby, Elle Rollins, Teage Colby, Londyn Rollins, Stark Colby, Paisley Griffin, Sloane Rollins and Henry Griffin.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; son Von Ernst and brother, Ron Ernst.

Memorial contributions can be made in Michael's name to the Silverton Fire Department and For Pets' Sake Humane Society.
