Merrel Eugene Deremo

MERREL EUGENE DEREMO Graveside services for longtime Dove Creek resident Merrel Eugene Deremo will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 13 at Dove Creek Cemetery. Merrell was born August 1, 1927 in Elbert, Colo. the son of Clyde and Eloise (Whitting) Deremo. He passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2009 in Phoenix, Ariz. at the age of 81. Merrel served in the Air Force and was very active in the VFW. He enjoyed farming, sports, and gardening. Surviving Merrel are his wife, Catherine Deremo; his son, Jonnie Deremoand his wife, Linda all of Cave Creek, Ariz.; his granddaughters, Rhiannon and Samantha; and his brother, Larry Deremo. Memorial contributions may be made in Merrel's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, Ill. 60601-7633.
