Merna Belle Konyndyk

Merna Belle Konyndyk was born March 2, 1926 in Marion, Michigan, the daughter of Claire and Teresa (Thrilher) Merritt. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 14, 2021 at her son’s home in Mancos at the age of 95.
Merna was an avid traveler in her younger years and flew around the world during her career as a travel agent. In her later years, she enjoyed watching birds and other wildlife of the Southwest.
Surviving Merna is her son, Terry Merritt Konyndyk (Cathy Lederer) of Mancos. Merna is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Joseph Konyndyk; and her daughter, Kathy Konyndyk.
