Matthew Leroy Montoya

Funeral services for Dolores resident Matthew Leroy Montoya will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Evangel Assembly of God Church in Cortez, CO. Pastor Jeff McDonell will officiate. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery.
Matthew was born August 25, 1989 in Cortez, CO the son of Sherry Lynn (Herrera) Montoya and Max Joseph Montoya Sr. He passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the age of 32.
Surviving Matthew are his parents, Sherry and Max Montoya of Dolores, CO; his sister, Amanda Alcon of Dolores, CO; three nieces, and one nephew. Matthew was preceded in death by his brother, Max Joseph Montoya Jr.
