MARY RUTH McCLURE COLLINS Graveside services for longtime Monticello resident, Mary Ruth McClure Collins will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 3 at the Monticello Cemetery. Bishop Doug Wright will be officiating. Ruth was born on July 19, 1909 in Canyon, Tex. the daughter of Isaac Walton and Ruth Harter Cecil McClure. She passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at the Vista Grande Nursing Home in Cortez at the age of 95. Ruth spent her working career as a Purchasing Clerk for a wholesale hardware company. She stayed in this industry for 40 years. Surviving Ruth are her daughter, Barbara Ruth Corbin of Monticello, Utah; her grandchildren, Leon des Rosiers, Mike des Rosiers, Duane Shoemaker, and Cyndi Burtenshaw. She leaves behind 14 great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren; as well as her brother, Isaac Walton McClure of Cairo, N.Y. Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Clyce Bernard Collins.
