MARY MARGUERITE ALLMOND Funeral services for lifelong Dove Creek resident, Mary Marguerite Allmond will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 14 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cahone Cemetery. Father Derrek D. Scott will be officiating. A visitation has been scheduled for Friday morning from 8 a.m. until noon at the Ertel Chapel. Mary was born on November 15, 1912 the daughter of Austin and Annie (O’Haire) Kilcoyne. She passed away on Monday, January 10, 2005 at her home in Dove Creek at the age of 92. Throughout her life, Mary remained an active member of her community. She was a school teacher for 39 years, and belonged to several organizations. Her memberships included PERA, Cahone Home Ladies Club, Tigress Club and the Area On Aging Group. During her spare time, Mary loved visiting her friends, and being with people. She was also known as a great seamstress. Mary is survived by her children, Richard Miller and wife, Ruth of Bothell, Was., Shirley Davis and husband, Paul, and Pat Knuckles and husband, Richard all of Dove Creek. She leaves seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her father, Austin Kilcoyne; her mother, Annie Brose and step-father, Herman Brose; her husband, Chess Allmond; her son, Austin Miller; and her sister, Kathleen Blackham.
