MARY MARGARET JOHNSON Funeral services for longtime Mancos resident Mary Margaret Johnson will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 28 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mary Margaret was born November 14, 1919 in Perkins, Okla. the daughter of Charles Dennis and Lida Rae (Carlile) Knipe. She passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at her residence at the age of 93. In 1938, Mary Margaret married William Earl Johnson in Ponca City, Okla. A hardworking woman her whole life, Mary Margaret devoted her love and time to her family and their ranch. She will be greatly missed. Surviving Mary Margaret are her children, William Jerry Johnson of Tulsa, Okla., Larry Earl "Pete" Johnson of Tulsa, Okla., and Robert Paul "Bob" Johnson of Durango, Colo.; and her sister, Camilla. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, William Johnson.
