MARY ELLEN (REYNOLDS) MAHAFFEY

Memorial services for Mary Ellen Mahaffey will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mary was born the 17th of June 1942 in Anchorage, Alaska to V.H. "Speck" and Ivy Reynolds. She had three older sisters: Jo, Lou, and Mel. She moved from Alaska to Mancos, Colorado in 1951 where she lived down Weber Canyon for one year before moving to a farm Southeast of Cortez. She graduated from MCHS in 1960. In 1962, she married Joe Mahaffey. They had three children, Charlie, Dana, and Scott.

Mary is survived by her husband Joe, her three children, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Lou Springmeyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two nieces and one nephew.
