MARY LOUISE ELLIOTT Funeral services for longtime area resident Mary Louise Elliott will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Road M Chapel. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery. Bishop Vaughn Cook will conduct. Visitation has been scheduled for Friday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Louise was born July 6, 1940 in Lexington, Okla. the daughter of Leonard Vertis and Lorene Belle (Jones) Owens. She passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 75. Surviving Louise are her children, Heath Elliott and wife, Melissa of Dolores, and Debbie Elliott-Heaton and husband, Adam of Rising City, Neb.; her grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Jesse Johnson, Jared Woodrow, Miranda Elliott, Ryan Dunham, Jade Dunham, Christian Heaton, Connor Heaton, and Ian Heaton; her great-grandchildren, Taylor Johnson and Zaine Johnson; her sisters, Stella Rose Neeley and husband, Byron of Globe, Ariz., and Betty Faye Shobert and husband, JT of Maysville, Okla.; her sister-in-law, Vonda Elliott of Dolores; and her brothers-in-law, Glenn Elliott and Jerry Elliott, both of Dolores. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Lonnie Earl Elliott; and by her brother, Leonard Vertis Owens Jr. Memorial contributions may be made in Louise Elliott's name to Hospice of Montezuma, P.O. Box 740, Cortez, Colo. 81321.
