MARY JAY Graveside services for lifelong Aneth, Utah resident, Mary Jay will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 15 at the Cortez Cemetery. A visitation was scheduled for Friday morning at the Ertel Memorial Chapel from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Mary was born on July 10, 1909 in Aneth, Utah to Frank and Mary Bitsilly. She passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at the Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 94. Mary enjoyed cooking, herding sheep, weaving rugs, riding horses and helping other people in her community. Above all she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. Her children, Eddie Jay and wife, Mary, Lily Lee and husband, Roy, Dorothy Begay, Irene Miller and husband, Andrew, and Evan Jay and wife, Lillian all of Aneth; as well as her sister, Jessie Bitsilly of Cortez survive Mary.
