MARY B. REYELTS Inurnment services for Mary B. Reyelts, 94 of Cortez, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 4 at Sandia Memory Gardens in Albuquerque, N.M. Mary was born July 25, 1914 in Benzie, Mich. the daughter of Louis and Magdalena (Ivancik) Bazany. She passed away at her Cortez home on Thursday, May 28, 2009. Mary received her education in a Michigan one room farmhouse school. On July 3, 1942 Mary married William G. Reyelts in Alexandria, La. After making a move to Albuquerque, Mary became a member of the American Business Women's Association. During her tenure, she served as President. 23 years ago Mary and William moved in with their daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tim. These were cherished years between the four. Mary made the move along with Judy and Tim to relocate to Cortez two years ago. She loved to travel and in February 2009, Mary went to see her first great great grandchild in California. Mary was always thoughtful of others before herself. Surviving Mary are her daughter, Judy Kline and husband, Tim of Cortez; five grandchildren, Jeannie Paynter, Tina Bagon and husband, Brian, Cheri Norton and husband, Chris, Lisa Klopf and husband, Ron, and Timothy J. Kline and wife, Kortney; by twelve great grandchildren, Brandi West, Chris Pariseau, D.J. Paynter, Kyra Paynter, Mathew Lovato, Lauren Lovato, Brandon Bagon, Evan Bagon, A.J. Klopf, Kellie Klopf, Kyle Kline, and Kenzie Kline; and by one great great grandchild, Michael J.D. Ward. Preceding Mary in death were her husband, William; great grandson, Lance Corporal Jeromy West; and by her six brothers.
